Our story of quality and tradition begins in Motta di Cavezzo, in the heart of Emilia, in the historic location that ties its name to the land where it was built in 1906: the Motta cellars.
At Acetum, ancient production methods are safeguarded alongside cutting-edge facilities that guarantee the highest standards of quality.
Our exploration never stops – from the invention of Blaze®, the first glaze with Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI, to more avant-garde pairings; this passion allows us to continue to innovate today. Along the way, we have found and explored new routes, new brands and development lines, such as “Antica Modena”. We have continued to grow, thanks also to the arrival of “Fini” and “MAZZETTI L’Originale” into the group.
Then, in 2011, two vinegar producers joined the Acetum family: the Emiliano Romagnolo Vinegar Factory and the Pontiroli Artos Vinegar Factory. Wine vinegar, essential for the production of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, is now directly monitored and guaranteed by us.
