Kopparberg was founded back in 1882 in Kopparberg, Sweden when 36 craft brewers joined forces. The brewery closed in 1988 when the company was bought by a Swiss firm and then reestablished in 1994 by two brothers. The company is a pioneer of sweet cider and fruit ciders.
Today, Kopparberg is sold in over 30 countries and is the world’s best-selling pear cider.
