Carpineto was founded in 1967 by Giancarlo Sacchet and Mario Zaccheo in a small town close to Chianti. Today the Sacchet and Zaccheo families manage 5 estates consisting of 500 hectares of land. The land is sustainably farmed and wine production is carbon neutral.
Carpineto wines are enjoyed in 70 countries around the world with over 3 million bottle being sold annually. The style of winemaking used by Carpineto results in smooth, velvety wines with clean and well-defined flavours.
