World Cleanup Day 2026: Small Actions, Meaningful Change

On the 20st of September World Cleanup Day, M&Z plc is proud to support the global call for action towards cleaner, healthier and more sustainable communities.
This year’s theme, “From Clean Plates to Clean Cities,” shines a light on one of the world’s most pressing and preventable waste challenges: food waste. It reminds us that sustainability starts with the everyday choices we make, from how we use and value food to how we manage the resources around us.
As a company operating within the FMCG sector, we recognise the responsibility we have to contribute to more sustainable ways of doing business. Reducing waste, encouraging responsible consumption and making conscious choices throughout our operations are important steps towards creating a more sustainable future.
But meaningful change is not achieved by businesses alone. It takes individuals, families, communities and organisations working together.
This World Cleanup Day, let’s turn awareness into action!
Whether it is reducing food waste at home, choosing products responsibly, recycling correctly, avoiding unnecessary waste or taking part in a local clean-up, every action counts.
At M&Z plc, we believe that positive change begins with collective responsibility. By working together and making better choices today, we can help create cleaner communities and a healthier environment for generations to come.
