This week, we join communities around the world in recognising World Breastfeeding Week, an annual campaign celebrated from 1st to 7th August to raise awareness of the importance of breastfeeding and the support mothers need throughout their parenting journey.
Breastfeeding provides babies with the best possible start in life, offering essential nutrients while strengthening the bond between mother and child. It also plays an important role in supporting the health and wellbeing of both mother and baby.
