There Is Much More Need Around Us Than We Realise

As we approach the end of the year, and reflect on the season of giving, it’s important to pause and acknowledge a reality that often goes unseen,  many individuals and families in our communities are barely managing their daily needs and expenses.

Behind familiar streets and neighbourhoods, there are people experiencing real hardship: struggling to make ends meet, worrying about putting food on the table, or finding warmth in their homes. The impact of rising costs and daily pressures has meant that for many, what we consider basic essentials have become significant burdens.

This is a time of giving,  but also a time of understanding and awareness. While the holiday season brings joy for many, it can be a stark reminder for others of what they lack.
