Sparkle the Night Away: M&Z plc’s Annual Summer Staff Event

M&Z plc recently brought its team together for one of the most anticipated events on its calendar, the annual Summer Staff Event.

This year’s theme, Sparkle the Night Away, set the tone for a memorable evening at The Xara Lodge in Rabat, where colleagues came together to relax, celebrate and enjoy each other’s company.

With Malta’s summer heat in full swing, guests were welcomed with refreshing drinks, including Santero Fragolino and Fina sparkling wine. The evening also provided an opportunity to showcase a selection of wines from the vineyards represented locally by M&Z plc, allowing guests to discover and enjoy more from our extensive portfolio.

There was plenty to keep everyone refreshed throughout the evening, including a particularly popular Algida Slush with Kopparberg Strawberry & Lime Gin, alongside a free-flowing selection of wines and spirits.

Entertainment helped create the perfect atmosphere from start to finish. The first part of the evening featured live acoustic music, with the sounds of saxophone and guitar setting a relaxed and elegant mood. Later, the energy picked up as the DJ took over, bringing the dancefloor to life with some of the most popular tracks of recent times.

The fun continued at our Photo Booth, where colleagues embraced the opportunity to strike a pose with a wonderful selection of delightful props. It proved to be a firm favourite throughout the evening, capturing plenty of laughter and memorable moments!

And, of course no M&Z celebration would be complete without great food. The excellent selection was enjoyed by all, with the Pinsa Station proving to be a particular crowd favourite!

The evening was also an opportunity to recognise and celebrate our people during the M&Z plc Staff Awards. The awards are an important part of our annual celebration, and we look forward to sharing more about our deserving winners in subsequent posts.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make Sparkle the Night Away such a fantastic occasion. It was an evening of great food, great drinks, great music, plenty of laughter and, above all, great company, a fitting celebration of the people who make M&Z plc what it is.
