International Day of Peace

Every year on the 21st of September, we mark the International Day of Peace, a day dedicated to strengthening the ideals of peace around the world.

This year’s United Nations theme, “Invest in Peace – For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day,” reminds us that peace is not only shaped by major decisions, but also by the everyday choices we make.

Peace can begin with something as simple as listening to others, showing respect, embracing different perspectives, offering support and choosing understanding over division.
