Brand and Sales Executive

The role of a Brand & Sales Executive consists of working on a given portfolio of brands through developing brand plans in order to drive sales through various different sales channels. The role also involves working closely with the Company’s various teams in Logistics, Marketing and Sales to meet given targets.



  1. Work hard to achieve and deliver the Sales & Gross Profit targets that are set by the Company from time to time;
  2. Adhere to marketing budgets and any other work disciplines as will be advised by the Company;
  3. Accurately calculate Customs and Tariff charges, prepare product-costing and propose pricing structure including end prices to consumers such that these are based on realistic market conditions;
  4. Develop, grow, manage and actively expand the business of the Brand portfolio that shall be assigned from time to time at the absolute discretion of the Company;
  5. Prepare market reports on the Company’s product performance and actively monitor competitive activity;
  6. Identify possibilities for sourcing and assessing potential of new products as appropriate with the purpose of significantly enhancing the Company’s interests;
  7. Carefully plan and execute market strategies in order to achieve defined Business objectives for the Brands’ portfolio;
  8. Develop, design and implement consumer marketing campaigns and liaise with various internal teams as required;
  9. Identify opportunities and create strategies which address such opportunities through specific activities within the market;
  10. Negotiate with customers on implementing opportunities for enhancing the brands’ presence within the outlet;
  11. Work with market specialists to develop and implement in-store promotions and merchandising requirements;
  12. Mentor, motivate and work with the relevant sales teams;
  13. Take an active part and supervise any activities that may be planned as part of the Employee’s brand portfolio marketing campaigns (which could also include weekends);
  14. Meticulously keep record and promptly highlight any budget variances should these rarely occur;
  15. Monitor ongoing campaign performance and make recommendations for change if/as required;
  16. Maintain and update online communication, through social media channels;
  17. Promptly respond to online enquiries that are relevant to the Business;
  18. Help implement other marketing activities (even if external to the Employee’s portfolio);
  19. Perform any other related works as may be advised by the Employer from time to time.



  1. University standard of education or equivalent.
  2. Proven leadership skills.
  3. A people oriented individual with a commitment to driving the sales team.
  4. Numerical and good with numbers.
  5. Ability to communicate in both English & Maltese.
  6. Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions.
  7. Smart appearance.
  8. Clean driving license.
