It all started back in 1956 when Cav. Luigi Patrizi devoted himself to the development of the frozen fish industry by introducing innovative processing techniques that were later further developed by Esca.
Cav. Patrizi developed the manual system to curl octopuses by introducing a rotating concrete mixer, which is still used all over the world today. In 1971 Esca was relocated and a new machine was built in order to preserve frozen products in vacuum-sealed packages. The main aim was to get the product known and to communicate that all nutritional qualities were preserved exclusively by freezing products.
In the year 2001 a new product line, “iCondipresto” was created. These are a range of frozen sauces to be heated and ready to pan-fry with pasta or risotto. Sauces are made with the highest quality ingredients, dedicated love during the preparation of each single condiment and creativity in mixing flavours.
