This Pink October, M&Z plc was proud to dedicate our efforts to raising awareness and showing our support by partnering with the outstanding Europa Donna Malta.

At M&Z, we believe that knowledge is power. To reinforce this, we hosted an insightful educational session where Europa Donna Malta generously shared their expertise,offering our team valuable first-hand experiences, essential preventative advice, and clear guidance on performing effective self-checks.

The session also shed light on the importance of the National Breast Screening Programme, which offers free screening to women aged 40 to 69, a vital initiative that promotes early detection and saves lives.

Importantly, the talk also highlighted that breast cancer is not limited to women. Men too, can be affected, and recognising the signs early is equally crucial. Including this discussion helped ensure that awareness was both inclusive and comprehensive, reaching everyone in our team.

Beyond education, we wanted to support Europa Donna Malta’s vital mission directly. M&Z plc was pleased to present a donation on behalf of our staff to help fund their ongoing work in patient support and advocacy.

To sweeten the initiative, our team enjoyed custom ribbon shaped biscuits, a small gesture to celebrate participation and the strength of community.
